In Shinjuku, it was a seemingly normal day for the inhabitants of the city. People went about their usual daily lives. Unknown to them, a small Digital Field suddenly opened up in a remote area of the park, and out of it appeared a small card. This card possessed a mysterious and strange power, and would cause very strange things to happen to those who found it.

And as this card appeared, it didn't go completely unnoticed, as it was detected by the D-Power of any of the Digimon Tamers that might have been in the area.
