This choice: Ashley eats the candy when she's upset or angry (slowly becomes more docile) • Go Back...
Chapter #20
(Un)Healthy Expressionism

"Fine, we'll try the second option," Ashley replied, grabbing the bag and hobbling out of the room, not replying to the counselor's suggestion for another stomach massage. As good as they felt, Ashley figured it wouldn't be as pleasurable considering the harsh words she'd unleashed upon the fat hippy.
"Good luck, sister," the counselor murmured, watching as Ashley exited the room, leaning back in her chair and sighing. She didn't hate this woman, merely pitied her and wished she could make her understand that she was a success, even with her injury.
She'd have to talk to Ms. Polluck, she supposed, but first she decided a bit of gardening was in order.

The next day, Ashley plopped a few of the butterscotch candies into her mouth after not yelling at a timid, quaking, student of hers who had gotten bacon grease on her homework. The candies came out again after another student said she had forgotten they had an assignment in the first place. After swallowing, Ashley merely gave her an extra homework assignment for the evening.
By the end of the day, the bag was a quarter empty and she didn't even sigh when Tasha lifted her up onto the bed.
Rather than indulge her instincts and chew out her rotund caregiver, two more butterscotch candies slid past her lips as she suppressed it.
As she suckled on the golden-yellow nugget of hard candy, a smile crossed her lips. Probably all that damn sugar.
