Though Megan Porter's feet must have traced the entirety of the living quarters provided in her cabin, her eyes never left the charcoal outline of Raquel's posh physique. Every tick of every clock in the cabin registered to her, all synched into one mighty heartbeat that pounded with her own. Her bright blue eyes darted to one of said clocks. Five minutes, she had five minutes to be here. Why was she so nervous about having Raquel sit for her again? It wasn't like it was her first time with a model'in the nude'
'This is crazy.' She said to herself out loud, her hands flailing suddenly before falling back to her sides as she continued to pace, 'I shouldn't have asked her to do this' I'm gonna get in so much trouble!'
She brought her hands to her face and pulled them down dramatically, hoping to clear the fog of negativity from her mind's eye as she anxiously anticipated the arrival of her newest model.
'No, Ms. Polluck will understand!' Megan corrected herself, once again, aloud as she suddenly jerked in the opposite direction, 'I-In fact, maybe I'll just give her the painting when it's done! Y'know, instead of' keeping it''
Meekly Megan brought herself back down to Earth, an unexplainable heat coming to her face as she honestly contemplated keeping the picture she was most assuredly going to paint. It wasn't odd for an artist to have a picture in her head, right? Have Raquel stand there, where the coffee table is, with her arm raised dramatically in the air like some kind of great husky harbinger. She'd seen it done before, but with a figure like Raquel's, no doubt the end result would be'
'Oshboshbigosh, what's keeping her?!' Megan exclaimed, an eager smile managing to break through her nervousness as she waited out her newest model. She had never been this excited, so enthralled to paint someone before! She brought her hand to her mouth, habitually chewing on her fingernails one by one.
'Ohh'' she whimpered, suddenly feeling that her apartment was lacking in something, 'What do I do to not make this creepy?'
It was almost four and Raquel would be there any minute. The coffee table had to be moved, that was a definite. And some room for her stool and easel, so maybe if she just moved that armchair over a little' yeah, that'd work. But still that didn't give her any ideas on how to make this little rendezvous any more comforting for the girl. She seemed pretty hesitant when she agreed to doing this, Megan felt like she practically forced her poor student into posing for her. If only there was some way to make her feel more at home'
'Snacks!'
Megan suddenly said aloud, her curly blonde locks swaying with the motion as she sped over to the kitchen. She had hardly touched the foodstuffs from her welcome basket all those weeks ago, she could lay out a few of those' Okay, all of those and offer them to Raquel as a sort of peace offering!
She grabbed the wicker basket, tucked neatly away in the corner of her counterspace and practically untouched from the day she got it. It had been placed on the soon-to-be relocated coffee table for only a moment before a gentle knocking came to her door.
'Ms. Porter?' Raquel's voice squeaked from the other side, 'I-I'm here for the, uh' posing!'
Megan bit her bottom lip as excitement overtook her.
'Come in, Raquel!'
