Zamboni knew to solve a complex problem like the Clarks it would take time. One couldn't just snap one's fingers and all would be fine, there needed to be planning. Everyone would have to become involved. Everyone would have to fulfill their part. So he got them all under his hypnosis and gave them instructions.
George was the head of the household and so Zamboni started with him first. "George," he said "You must buy some new furniture for your guest room. Will spend the next week, picking out a large playpen, a changing table, dresser and mirror, chest, nightstand and a large comfy chair that rocks.
Shelly you will get the rooms accents. Get a rug, bed linen, curtains and wallpaper in a style for toddlers.
Jake you will come home everyday right after school and wait for the stuff to be delivered. You will place the furniture around the room, hang the curtains and put up the wallpaper.
Cyndi your dad will give you money and you will go everyday to drug stores and buy baby supplies. You must buy diapers (Zamboni explained which sizes), bottles, baby food, pacifiers, bibs, toys for toddlers and anything you think babies need."
Zamboni then had a decision to make, who should he give this final assignment too. But there was only one choice, "Shelly your body will start producing milk." This would take some time, her brain would tell her body to produce hormones. The body does anything the brain tells it. It wouldn't happen over night but soon, Shelly breasts would be producing milk. Cyndi really couldn't do it, at 11 she hadn't started puberty yet.
"You will all return in two weeks. You are happy, you all feel like you are finally doing something to help."
