During the night, Marge has a very strange dream. From her point-of-view, she relived random moments of her childhood youth. Like a tape being rewound or put in fast forward, a memory transferred into another without warning. The process lasted for hours. Marge eventually sees, to her confusion, distorted clocks operating in reverse. She also sees her children, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. She becomes more confused than ever when she noticed Bart and Lisa giving her demonic smirks at her level. To her "children's" delight, they start to grow bigger before her eyes. She turns to Maggie, who has become a giant compared to her. Maggie takes off her pacifier, forming a smile as demonic as possible with her toothless mouth. Marge tries to run away before Maggie captures her with her giant hands. Maggie brings Marge closer to her face. "Maggie, no!" Marge fears for the worst before the horrific images vanished.
Marge wakes up to her bed with Homer (her husband), happy to no longer experience the traumatic nightmare. Before her heart slows down to a normal rate, Marge feels more fear attack her. She sees that the bed she was sleeping on, as well as everything else around her, appears somewhat larger than before. Feeling too shaken up to go back to sleep, she moves out the bed to get some water. While walking out of the bedroom, she trips on something, falling to the ground. Marge looks around, finding out she tripped on her nightgown,which became larger just like the rest of her surroundings. Seeing a connection to her situation, she looks at herself.
