Chapter #2

Diana, a 28 year old teacher

    by: Apollo Author IconMail Icon
After finally pulling herself out of bed, Diana made her way to the shower, in hopes that the warm water would wash off her streak of bad luck and the bull's eyes she's always dawned on April Fools' Day. The bulk of her efforts were focused on her breasts, which the sponge was beginning to scratch, but not enough to send any blood down her hourglass figure or her blonde landing strip. Her luck wasn't so bad early in life, just some untied shoelaces and spots on her shirt. It wasn't until she hit middle school did her luck take a nose dive, and it was all because of her boobs.

Diana was an early bloomer, and a quick one as well. It took her one summer, three months, for her flat chest to grow into her current D-cups. When she returned to her friends, everyone was convinced she was an 11 year old stuffer and began to alienate her. Things didn't change until the next April Fools' Day, when she accidentally cut off her own shirt during art class and gave her whole class an eye full of bra-encased girl flesh, all the motive necessary for someone to later give her a pants down wedgie to expose her snow white cheeks to the world. While this made her friends come back with apologies, it also started her April Fools' Curse. Since then, Diana hasn't been able to go one April Fools' without having something bad happen to her or have someone play a horrible prank on her.

As Diana attempted to dry herself, a distinct ripping sound echoed through her bathroom. A quick glance confirmed that her towel had split and scattered in multiple pieces, as if it were a dandelion. The largest of the many pieces was in her right hand, and there was barely enough there to dress a mouse as a ghost.

Diana could only sigh and step out the door with her shoulders slumped and her feet dragging. Diana lived alone, and she'd done her laundry yesterday. She needed to clean up the tiny cloth scraps from her bathtub, but this wasn't on her mind. She didn't like walking around naked, but with no witnesses and plenty of clean towels it didn't faze her. The carpet was soaking up the water that dripped off of her, but this mold risk wasn't registering either.

The problem was her curse lived on. She still lost her towel, she still had to do something she didn't like. The thought that she was still this day's favorite victim left her mind to fixate on nothing but her own fears. The terrycloth robe hanging next to the shower was neglected, even though it begged to be used as a makeshift towel. Her favorite bunny slippers that always kept her feet warm and clean vanished from her mind. Even her hands, which always reached to cover her most intimate areas whenever she was exposed outside the bathroom, were just pieces of meat to hang at her side in the wake of her bad mood.

And to top it all off, she had to go to work today. She had to enter a school as a teacher, and hope nobody will take part in this juvenile holiday. She has a better chance of hitting the lottery today. She would have loved to miss it, but she had too many people counting on her to go in today. As much as she hates this day, she hates letting people down even more. All she could do is get dressed and head to school.

For what reason is Diana needed?
