“Alright, we’ve had our fun for today. I think it’s time to go home to your new home.” Cassie said to me.
“Yeah, agreed.” I remarked, happy that this experience at the mall was finally over. “But can we go back to our house first please?”
“Nope! You’re living arrangement has been altered for the next month, so I think you better get used to it!” She teased.
We headed over my car. “I can’t wait to finally drive!” Jess squealed, Cassie along with her. She pulled my car keys out of the pocket of the jeans she was now wearing.
“You don’t know how to drive.” I told her, and held out my smaller and manicured hand. “Give me the keys.”
Cassie and Jess burst out laughing.
“What?” I asked them.
“Dan please, you’re a thirteen year old girl!” Cassie said.
“Yeah there’s no way you’re gonna get away with driving a car.” Jess added.
“And Jess will?” I questioned. “She doesn’t know how to drive, she could get us hurt!” I told them.
“Dan, just let me do it.” Jess told me. “Plus, I’m sixteen now!” She said and reached into my wallet and pulled out my driver’s license. She held it up to her new face and smiled to show the match.
“I’m not going anywhere until Jess gives me the keys.” I demanded and held my hand out again.
