Eat them alive

"As mayor of Ponyville I'd like to offer you the position as judge."

Zecora was flattered and agreed, she loved the town and wanted to make sure it was safe from any offenders.

"I am honored by the offer and accept,
those evildoers will get a punishment they won't expect."

The mayor looked overjoyed at this, a little too much Zecora noted.

"Great, hereby you will act as judge, jury and executioner. When you see fit you can punish any criminal you like by eating them on the spot. Tomorrow we will announce this change in our law system to the town."




The next day came soon enough and almost every pony in town was gathered in front of the city hall. The mayor and Zecora stood on the podium where the older mare started her speech.

"Fillies and gentlecolts, as you may know crime rates in our town have reached an alarming level." Murmurs of agreement went through the crowd. "To combat this trend I have decided to introduce harsher punishment."

The mayor waited a few seconds while looking at the anxious ponies in front of her.

"From now on our new town judge Zecora is free to punish any criminals she wants by eating them whole and alive." The crowd was in shock, for a few minutes there was complete silence before the crowd suddenly burst into laughter.

"That was a good one."
"Yeah, Zecora the cannibal."
"For one second I almost believed you."

Both the mayor and Zecora frowned even though this kind of reaction wasn't entirely unexpected.
