Snips already went home for lunch but Snips wanted to see her, the magician who showed them those amazing tricks, the great and powerful Trixie. Nervously, the lanky unicorn made his way to her cart and stood in front of the door. He raised a shaking hoof, wondering if he was ready for such magnificence but finally he decided to knock. He heard the clopping of hooves on wooden floor from behind the door, they came closer until the top half of the door creaked open and revealed the most amazing unicorn of all times. "What is it? Didn't I say I needed my beauty sleep?" She looked down at the green maned unicorn, who gulped heavily.
Snails tried to find the right words but could only stutter nervously. The presence of this great unicorn made him feel tiny, he wished he could be as amazing as her, he wished he could be her apprentice. "What did you just ask?" Apparently he accidentally said the last part out loud. "You think you have what it takes to be the great and powerful Trixie's apprentice?" Not knowing any better answer he simply nodded his head. Trixie scoffed but didn't seem to angry at him. "You certainly have the confidence, let me tell you something, I will give you a test and if you pass I will make you my apprentice."
Snails jaw hung open, did the great and powerful Trixie really just give him a chance to become her apprentice? "That would be awesome, what is the test?" He asked eagerly, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. Trixie gave him a devious smile. "You will prove that you are at least more powerful than one unicorn and that you are absolutely loyal to me. That other colt you were with earlier, find and eat him, come to me with a full and squirming belly as proof."
Snails was shocked, did she just demand that he ate his friend? "What are you waiting for? Go and get him." She demanded and Snails ran off immediately. While he ran, he thought about the test. Was it really worth eating Snips to become Trixies apprentice?
