This choice: Fluttershy's dragon reversal • Go Back...Chapter #8Fluttershy's dragon dilemma by: Dave   "Are you sure it is this way? I mean I don't want to sound like I don't trust you. It just we are awfully deep in the Everfree forest and there are big scary monsters lurking around. They could gobble up a pony like me in one bite, not to mention a little bird like you" Said Fluttershy as she followed the tiny bird throught the heavy foliage.
She recently nursed back the poor thing to health after having a broken wing. The little bird as a form of gratitude offered to take fluttershy to an ancient dragon nursery. And Fluttershy being all to eager about baby dragons, and not wanting to hurt the bird's feelings by refusing, couldn't say no.
The bird tweeted in response and urged the yellow pegasus forward.
"Oh, alright, If it isn't far away, then we can continue. After all you doing all of this just to show me this place." said Fluttershy and pressed onwards after the chirping bird.
After a minute Fluttershy saw an opening of a dark, scary cave. The bird stopped infront of the cave and chirped.
Fluttershy shaking a bit asked the bird "Are you sure?"
The bird chirped and nodded.
Fluttershy laid on the ground and tried to hide behind her mane "Are you absolutely, positively, without a doubt sure that it is in this very spooky cave?"
The bird nodded, chirping and motioned towards the cave.
Fluttershy gulping and pulling herself together "Alright, I am going in then. Thank you again little bird."
The bird chirped once more before flying away.
Fluttershy steeling her resolve to see the dragon nursery entered the dark cave. Surprisingly there was light. A sick green hue of light that illuminated the cave. The cave looked like a normal cave, there wasn't anything that reminded Fluttershy of a nursery. The only interesting thing was the source of light. It laid upon a rock with a smooth top. It was a tiny egg shaped rock, smaller than a chicken egg. It emanated the green light that filled the cave and had a silluette of a dragon carved into it's side.
Fluttershy approached the egg-like rock in curiosity, and after being certain no danger was around, she carefulyl picked up the rock. It was warm.
"What could this be? I think it is related to dragons. I should ask Spike or Twilight about that. But it's a bit dirty I take it home and clean it down before taking it to them." said Fluttershy as she flew out of the cave in a rush to her cottage.
She was so focused in the glowing rock in her hooves in her rush that she didn't notice Harry the bear standing in her way in front of her home. Resulting in her colliding with the big bears soft gut and bouncing back landing on her flank. The rock flew in the air from the impact and landed right in Fluttershy's open mouth and into her throat.
She coughed trying to force the foreign object out of her neck. Harry ever so helpful gently patted Fluttershy's back. Which caused her to gulp and the bulge in her neck sank into her chest and made her belly to sag.
Fluttershy eyes went wide. She hiccuped, then burped. Along with the burp came out a pink flame which, scared of Harry.
"Oh my." said Fluttershy as she quickly got up and rushed into her home.
Feeling the heavy object in her belly she tried to look for something to be able to puke it back out. Not noticing as her body started to change. Her yellow fur slowly changed to yellow scales, her mane changed to pink spikes running from the top of her head down her back to her new yellow draconic tail that ended in a spade like shape. Her eyes, ears and wings took on a draconic shape. her muzzle lengthened and her teeth became sharp.
Her bunny, Angel tried to get her attention to notice the changes but Fluttershy ignored him in her panic. "Not now Angel. I need to find a way to get this rock out of my stomach."
She only noticed the changes when she rapidly began to grow and she hit her head on the ceiling.
"Ouch, What? What is happening with me?" she asked but she didn't have time to look herself over. With a big crash, her growing body destroyed the top of her cottage. All of her animals running away in panic as Fluttershy now full grown dragon body completely destroyed the rest of the building.
"Oh no!" cried Fluttershy, feeling sad over her destroyed home.
She now looked like a lean, yellow, female, adult dragon with pink back spikes.
She weeped there not knowing what to do while Angel dodged her giant tears.
She knew she had to figure something out.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
