Applejack stopped to consider this for a moment, and sighed. "Well... yer my sister and Ah love ya, but... Ah dunno. Yer in my stomach, and my stomach is supposed to digest food... and yer in there, and yer my sister, but... if yer in my stomach yer also kinda just food now."
"APPLEJACK!" growled Apple Bloom.
"Oh right, sister stuff. Um..." Applejack looked around nervously, started licking her lips. "Gosh darn it Apple Bloom Ah can still taste ya!" She closed her eyes and sat down, hugging her belly. "It’s like my stomach can taste ya... Ya'll just are gonna have to stay in there. Ah can't bring myself to let ya out when yer just so tasty!"
Apple Bloom blinked, unsure of what would happen to her next. "So that's in then? Ah'm just food now?"
"Uh well not entirely, yer still my sister and Ah love ya... so yer not just food now."
Apple Bloom wiggled kicked at her sister's stomach walls. "Well a lotta good that does me!"
Applejack giggled and apologized, then got back to work making apple juice. Apple Bloom kept trying to talk to her, but Applejack didn't seem interested in talking anymore and started whistling while she did the work of two ponies. Apple Bloom started to get worried. Her skin was tingling and she was thoroughly coated in her sister's digestive slime. A puddle of it surrounded her. She wondered how long it would take for her to digest. She didn't think ponies could digest meat that well, especially if it wasn't chewed. Probably would take a long time. But she was sure it was going to do it all the same. She'd learned from Cheerilee that some deer would, very rarely, eat small creatures to get protein. More often than that they'd eat the skin that sheds off their horns that grow in every year. So the stomach probably was universal at digesting most things, just better at some things than others. Such as fruit and veggies.
Apple Bloom kept entertaining the thought that her situation was getting worse, but every time she rubbed on her back and sides that sat in her sister's juices, she found that her body and fur were still intact. At the very least her skin should be getting raw, or the fur should be coming out. But she seemed to be holding together unnaturally well.
Applejack yawned. "There... all done... guess it’s time for a nap."
Apple Bloom felt Applejack go into the house and into her bed, and Apple Bloom couldn't help but get a little sleepy too, surrounded by all this warmth. She fell asleep eventually as well, and together they slept through the night. In the next morning Apple Bloom was the first to wake up and realize that she was still thoroughly intact, even though the stomach acids still raged against her, trying in vain to break her down. She couldn't believe it! The stomach wasn't able to digest her! Surely it wasn't because ponies didn't eat meat regularly! It must have been a part of her abstract talent, the ability to make and keep things whole! It must work on all kinds of things! In the gloom of her sister's stomach, which took hours to get used to, she looked at her flank.
