Luna, had always been a bit loony but ever since the battle minstery last year she had babies on the mind. In truth a near miss with a confundus jinx had caused this but Luna nor anyone else was aware of this, all Luna knew was that she desperatly wanted to have a baby.
When she start her 5th year she spent her free time of the first few days in the library trying to find a magic solution to her desire. After about a week and a bit she what she was looking for, a potion which would make the drinker become pregnant without having to have sex. This was perfect for Luna because even with the popularity she had gained from the fight with the death eaters she still had not seemed to attracted the desires of anyone.
She started brewing the potion in the 'out of order' girl's bathroom with Moaning Myrtle in it, in fact the only other person who ever seem to come in was Draco Malfoy who seemed to be too preoccuppied to check all the cubicles.
After another few weeks the potion was nearly done all she needed was a hair from a 'father', in fact the book didn't mention that the hair had to be from a male.
