Chapter #54 months in by: Jax  
Kate was about 4 months into her pregnancy an she was starting to notice the effects. She had developed a small tight baby bump sticking out from her stomach, and the early signs of pregnancy, like nausea, were starting to pass. But the main effect she was worrying about were all the cravings.
“Oh my god that looks so good. Mmmm oh that looks even better. Oh what I would do to eat that.” Kate muttered to herself as she staring at different types of food on her laptop. Just then her husband walks over
“ hey hun what are you doing” he says as he looks over her shoulder on to the laptop seeing that’s she’s on the McDonald’s website. “ I thought you didn’t eat McDonald’s, don’t you say it’s to unhealthy” Kate’s husband says.
“Yeah, it’s way too unhealthy, but the other week this advert came on with this huge McD’s burger and this large meaty pizza, and now all I can think about is them. “ Kate said mesmerised by the thought of the food.
“Then why don’t you just buy some for lunch or sommet” her husband said.
“I can’t eat that... it’s junk food... and I’m a model” Kate said.
“I’m sure you’ll be fine, just have a bit, you are pregnant.”
“ it’s this dam pregnancy’s fault every since it started I’ve been craving more and more junk”
“Ok fine. But if your hungry you should eat”

A few hours had past and it was edging around lunch time.
“Oh god dam it. Fine, if this baby wants to eat so much it can but only for today I can’t afford to gain any pregnancy weight.” Kate said as she stood up and stormed to her car driving to McDonald’s.
At McDonald’s Kate ordered a large Big Mac meal with a coke. It had been a few years since Kate had last been and once she took a bite it was like she was in heaven. She began eating more quickly, each bite making her fall more in love with this greasy meal. The cravings from her pregnancy making her body yearn for more. “Oh my god. This is so good “ she murmured in complete bliss as she shoved the rest in her mouth and leaned back in her chair. “I forgot how amazing this was.”
She said as she rubbed her baby bump.
“Hmmm. I wonder, ahh one more couldn’t hurt, I mean am am pregnant so all the calories will just go into making the baby” she thought to herself.
After about 2 hours Kate had managed to eat another 2 Big Mac meals as well as taking 2 home for later. She rationalised to herself that this was just a one off day so make the most of it, plus most calories will go to the baby. She also had stopped if at the supermarket and stocked up on some chocolate and sweets. She had initially gone to get some healthy groceries for the week but every time she saw some sort of chocolatey goodie, her baby cravings made her throw it into the the trolley. After she finished she ended up coming out with 3 large dairy milk bars, 2 large galaxy’s, an apple pie , a tub of Oreo ice cream and a dozen cream donuts.
“Oh my god, this food is so unhealthy but it just looks so delicious. It should be fine for just this one time.” Kate said leaving the supermarket.
4 hours later Kate’s husband arrives home to see his wife munching on a donut.
“Hi hun, eating a donut are we, not very model like” he said jokingly to his wife.
“Shut up I’m hungry and all this baby wants is crap.” Kate said.
“Haha, I’m joking. So any way what you want for dinner” he said.
“I was thinking pizza. I picked up this menu today and some of it looks incredible.” Kate said.
“Wow. Pizza really. Well I’m down but I’ve never known you want pizza with your modelling job and everything. “ he said half shocked but actually glad he doesn’t have to eat health crazy diet food for once. “Okay I’ll ring up” Kate said eagerly. “ you want to share with me” her husband said. “ no no it’s okay I’ll just order my own and you order yours.” Kate said as she dialled the number and passed it to her husband so he could order.
The pizza place answered the phone.
“ hi can I take your order.”
“Yes please could I have an 12 inch Hawaiian pizza with a side of medium chips” her husband said.
“ yes very good, any thing else” the pizza guy said.
“Yes hold on one sec “ he said as he passed the phone to Kate.
“Hi. Please can I have an 18 inch meat feast with a 12 inch cheese garlic bread, along with a large dinner kebab and a side of large chips too. Oh and that’s for delivery please.” She said as her husband looked at her shock.
“What!!” She exclaimed “I’m pregnant cut me some slack. It’s just a one of for today. What’s the worst that could happen.” She said as she finished up ordering, telling the pizza guy where to deliver.
Once the food arrived Kate dug in immediately. She began wolfing down her 2 pizza’s like it was her mission. After about 10 minutes Kate managed to finish of her 2 pizza’s and moved on to her kebab, where as her husband had only gotten through about half of his 1 pizza and was starting to get full.
After Kate had demolished all her food forcing her to unbuckle her belt, she watch her husband eat the rest of his.
“That’s it I’m done can’t eat any more that pizza was too big.” Her husband said as he looked at his wife. “Bloody hell, you finished all yours I couldn’t even finish one” he said looking at his 3 remaining slices. “Well if your not going to eat the rest...” Kate said looking innocently at him.
“Jesus Christ! Well I was going to save it, but if your that hungry, fine you can have the rest” he said half jokingly as Kate greedily grabbed the box and finished the rest of the food.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
