Chapter #4Akane the Titaness, well, at least to Ranma anyway by: Chaos Magnet Akane Tendo was fresh from the bath when she saw Ranma's shrunken form on the floor. At first she thought it was some sort of bug, but when she got a closer look, she realized that was impossible, because no bug she knew of walked upright on two legs.
Akane's bright brown eyes were locked on his form, and Ranma knew that this could be either good or bad. What made him even more nervous was that he could not tell exactly what the girl was thinking. She had neither the angry scowl she would use when he said something stupid, or that twinkle in her eyes when she was genuinely happy. Her facial expression was neutral, and gave no clue to the inner workings of her mind at that moment.
Finally, his Tendo fiancee made a move, and, very slowly, reached a hand out and picked up the martial artist between her fingers. Ranma offered no resistance, he did not wish to arouse the wrath of this girl who was now many times his size.
Akane wasn't quite sure of what to make of this. She held in her hands a miniature Ranma, the boy who came into her life and flipped it upside down. He had, single handed, proven to her the existence of magic, and curses specifically, as well as completely destroying her perspective of what the human body was capable of. Now he had done so again, by shrinking to a size that could fit in her palm easily.
Timidly, at first, the youngest Tendo daughter began to examine the boy to make sure this was all real, and not just a hallucination brought on by any number of different things. When she was sure that this was indeed real, the next thing that came to mind was a question: was Ranma shrunk by someone else, or did the little pervert shrink himself so he could peek at her while she was drying off and changing. indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
