When the light cleared, Ash and Serena opened their eyes and found themselves in a dark void with only each other and two round windows to the out side world.
"What's going on here?" Ash asked in surprise.
"Ash," Serena said. "I-I think that we were merged together. This place is our shared mind."
"What!? So you're saying that we are now the same person!?"
"It seems like it. What are we going to do?"
Ash thinks for a moment. "It seems like we need to work together in order for us to move our shared body. Let's see what we look like."
"Alright, but I'm scared of what we might find."
With the same goal in mind, the dark void vanishes and they are looking out of their shared eyes. Pulling out a mirror that was in Serena's bag, they realize that their face looks like a female Ash's face. They have a nice, shapely body with medium sized breasts and a plump butt. Their clothes also seemed to have merged together, making female version of the outfit that Ash was wearing, complete with a cute mini skirt.
"It looks like we're a female Ash, so Ashley seems to be a fitting name," a female voice says coming from their lips. It seems their voice has merged as well.
Then, reaching for their crotch, they found themselves back in the dark void.
"Ash!" Serena yells with a red face. "What do you think you're doing!?"
"Sorry! It's just... you and I are two different genders, and we were fused into the same body. Sure it seems to be female, but I just wanted to be sure that we didn't have any boy parts on us."
This caught Serena by surprise. She hadn't even thought of that. Then her face gets even more red as she starts to think about the possibility of having a penis.
"W-well, I-I guess it wouldn't hurt to at least check," she said shyly.
"Are you sure?" Ash asks.
"Y-yes. But don't try any funny business!"
"I won't. I promise," Ash says quickly.
Just then, they were back in the outside world. After looking around to see if anyone is around, they reach a hand to their crotch and feel. To Serena's relief, they only felt over their cloths. And to Ash's relief, he couldn't feel any trace of a penis.
Returning to the void, Serena and Ash begin to plot their next move.
"Okay," Serena says. "I think that this is enough being fused for one day. How about we defuse now."
After hearing that, Ash starts to laugh nervously.
"What?" Serena asked worriedly.
"I forgot what button I pressed that caused us to fuse," Ash responded.
Serena was left speechless after that. On one hand she is mentally cursing Ash for forgetting such an important detail and forcing her to share a body with her crush, while on the other she is mentally cursing herself for foreseeing this. She has spent so much time around Ash that she should have known that this would happen.
"Well," Serena said after finding her voice again. "We could just try buttons until we find the right one."
"I don't think that's a good idea," Ash says.
"What!? Why not!?"
"It fused us together, Serena," Ash said bluntly. "If it can do that, then who knows what else it could do. Our best bet is to take it to Clemont and have him look at it."
Serena was very surprised by Ash's response. She should have thought of that herself. But now, they needed action.
Returning to the outside world, they then make their way back to camp. Once they got there, Bonnie was the first one to see them.
"Wow! Your a keeper!" she exclaimed.
After running up to them, she continues. "Oh, won't you please take care of my brother?"
'So that's what it feels like to be on the receiving end of that' both of them think at the same exact time.
"Bonnie!" Clemont exclaims out of embarrassment. "I told you to stop doing that!"
"Sorry about her," he then says to them. "She just gets a little excited when she sees other girls. My name is-"
"Clemont," they say. "We know."
"There are more of you out here!" Bonnie exclaims in excitement.
"Actually, it's us. Serena and Ash. We found a strange remote in the woods that fused us together, but we couldn't figure out how to unfuse us. We thought that you might figure out a way to do it."
Bonnie and Clemont were shocked to hear this. After taking a while to process it, Clemont came to his senses.
"O-okay. Where is this remote?"
"It's right here." They hand the remote to Clemont.
"Hmm. This is going to take me a while to figure out, but I will try my best!"
"So we're stuck like this indefinitely?"
"Yeah. Sorry."
"Let me guess," Bonnie finally speaks up. "This is Ash's fault."
"Yeah," the respond.
"Well," Clemont says. "It's getting pretty late. Why don't you rest for tonight and we'll see what we can do in the morning."
"That sounds great. But... which tent do we sleep in?"
"You can sleep in mine and Serena's tent! I'll sleep with Clemont tonight."
"Alright, sounds like a plan!"
After getting changed into some night cloths, Ash and Serena find themselves back in the void.
"So, I guess we go to sleep now," Ash says.
"Yeah," Serena says timidly.
"Huh?" Ash says, noticing Serena's inner turmoil. "What's wrong Serena?"
"Well..."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
