Naruto stood there, looking confused at the turn of events. “Huh, I guess nothing happened,” he said, relief being written his face. The rest of the kunoichi just looked gobsmacked.
“All that for nothing,” sighed Sakura. ‘But wait. Maybe he messed it up. I can try-‘
Her train of thought was interrupted by Tsunade. “Brat! What were you thinking, testing a jutsu you didn’t even know the effects of?!” She looked annoyed when Naruto just shrugged. Stepping in front of him, she ran a few diagnostic jutsu to see if there was any damage done.
Sakura chimed in. “Yeah Naru-“ She shut up when Tsunade gave her a flat stare.
“Don’t even start with me Sakura! He wouldn’t have done this to begin with if you hadn’t asked him,” Tsunade’s stern tone giving no room to argue. Getting no negative signs she continued, “You’re lucky he wasn’t harmed from what I can determine.”
Naruto simply smiled. “See! I’m good Sakura! Even feel a little stronger!,” he flexed for emphasis.
Tsunade flicked Naruto lightly. “We’ll see. Tomorrow, you’ll report to the hospital. Until then, rest and get some sleep. No buts!”, she warned. Naruto just poured in response.
Tsunade turned to address the rest of the group. “Not a word of this. Anko, find the scroll and bring it to my office. Kurenai, ensure Naruto returns to his apartment to rest. The rest of you, return to your residences for the evening. Dismissed.”
Tsunade shushinned out of the training field, leaving the rest of the group to depart.
