Tails remembers that the 109's controls freeze up at speeds above 400mph. Also the P47 is incredibly heavy and can out dive any aircraft of the war. (except the Me262) Tails dives and accelerates past 550 mph. The 109 dives after him but can't keep up and puts too many Gforces on the aircraft and rips the wings off. Tails is credited with the kill and lands with only 1/2 gallon of fuel left. Tails is on the board. Soon…
