"Ok, I guess." you say as your sister drags you up to the registration booth..

"Okay, we all want to enter the contest" your sister says.

"Sure, go stand over there and wait" the woman at the booth says handing you all a piece of paper with a number on it.

You walk over to a line with a bunch of other people in the line.

"Nice costume" a guy dressed as Squall from Final Fantasy VIII says to you.

"Thanks, you too" you say.

"So, what's your name?" he asks.

"My name is..." you can't let him know you're a guy! "Eva"

"That's a beautiful name. Mine is Lance"

"Cool name" you say when you hear an announcer's voice.

"Time for the costume contest! Will numbers 1-15 walk onto the stage" he says.

You glance at your number. You are number 29, so you won't be up for a while.

"Well, I gotta go up there" Lance says as he walks away.

"Bye" you say.

"Hey Evan! What's going on" Melody says.

"Shh, call me Eva, I don't want people to know I'm a guy"

"Oh, good idea bro! Saw you talking to Squall, gonna go on a date with him?" she says jokingly.

"No!" you say, your face turning red.

"Relax I was kidding"

"Will numbers 16-31 walk onto the stage?" the guy says again.

"Come on Eva!" Melody says pulling you onto the stage.
