You smiled, Finally some good luck, Maddie pointed the ray at you, and a great blue blast of energy shot out of it, it hit you and suddenly a great tingling sensation went through your body, and suddenly you began to grow, looking around it was a bit like looking out of the window of an aeroplane on take off, only much slower, everything around you was getting smaller, Maddie’s friends who you had only minutes had to crane your head to look eye to eye, were staring up, you were about twice as tall as them now, making you just over a foot. Looking around you watched, as you were raised up, you could see top of her dresser now, it was only about a foot away. Looking at Maddie, it was almost as if she was shrinking, as you watched your eyes passed her chest, then her neck, then for a second you were eye level with her, that made you just over four foot. You smiled only one and three thirds of a foot left. Walking over to the cupboard you stood with your back to it, so you could keep track, you had already passed the five foot mark, by the time you reached it, and you were fast approaching your real size, you stood there, and suddenly you found you had got there.
You walked towards the doors, to leave your sister and her friends to their game only to suddenly notice you were still growing, everything was still getting smaller, you looked around shocked, you were about six four now, and you were still growing, Maddie and her friends stared in horror, you head hit the celling, just after you passed the seven foot mark. looking down Maddie looked like a doll now, while here friends looked like insects, but you still hadn't finished growing, you had to bend forward, as you had already reached the celling, your back spread forward, consuming all in front of you, Maddie backed away, scared, eventually when you felt you had reached the very limit it was possible to get to and still fit in this room you stopped, looking at yourself you realised you had to be at least eight feet tall, maybe more, your feet looked large shoe boxes, your legs were like tree trunks, looking down at them you stared horrified, "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO TO ME?" you bellowed with all your might, Maddie looked terrified, her friends huddled up to her legs, to them your voice must have felt like a hurricane.
"I seem to have overgrown you," Maddie said timidly, "THEN CHANGE ME BACK," you shouted, Maddie held up the gun, and pulled the trigger, but nothing happened, she pulled it again, before looking at the gun, "it seems to be out of battery," she said even more timidly, "WHAT!" you bellowed, "please don't hurt me," Maddie sobbed, and then she started to cry, your anger vanished, you didn't mean that, slowly you sat down, and in a much softer voce, you said, "it’s okay, I don't blame you," Maddie looked up, "you don't "she said, "of course not," you replied, "it was just an accident, and I over reacted, I can wait till it recharges," Maddie looked at you, and dried her eyes, "okay," she managed, "I have the charger but it will take a few hours." "I can wait," you replied. Maddie nodded, and picking up her friends, she walked out. Leaving you sitting there on her bed, to you it felt like a small chair, you couldn’t stay here, it was far too uncomfortable.
Getting to your feet, you again hit the celling, “Ow” you screamed, you had to get on your knees to move across the room, granted it didn’t take long, with great effort you managed to squeeze through the doorway, struggling you found you just managed to get through, once again your head hit the celling, this was really getting annoying, you practically crawled over to the stairs, looking down you realised this was going to be a problem, you couldn’t walk down the stairs, your feet were larger than the stairs, sitting down, you stretched your legs down, they reached over halfway to the bottom, very carefully you made your way down, but it was difficult, you regretted every single wish to be taller, this was even worse than when you were mouse sized, at least then you could stand up straight and walk properly, now you couldn’t even do that, with difficult you managed to make it to the bottom of the stairs.
Still struggling you made it along the hallway, to the kitchen, then finally out the side door in to the garage, smiling you could finally stand up straight, you felt you spine click, as you stood up, looking around you were shocked at how tall you were and how small everything was in comparison, as the ray hadn’t simply made you taller, you had grown in all ways, you picked up a shovel, you laid it down in the palm of her hand, almost the whole tool rested there. Suddenly a great banging noise grabbed your attention, you turned and seeing nothing turned back, you then realised you had slammed your hand shut, opening it, you found you had snapped the wooden handle into pieces, you carefully placed them down. It hadn’t occurred to you, that with this increase in height, your strength had increased, as you were in all ways large, turning back, you spotted a large pile of wood, bending down you causally picked it up. You placed it back down, and then your mother’s car, not a very big car, but still.
Temptation proved too strong, walking over you bent down, and grasped it, struggling you stood up and lifted the thing into the air, you stared shocked, and causally I placed it back now, this struck you as weird, you expected to be able to move it, and maybe lift it, not lift it like a feather, you stared at your arm muscles, in comparison to your new body size, they hadn’t got any larger, but your strength couldn’t have increased that much? Could it? I mean that car had to weigh at least two thousand pounds, and you were lifting it like a football. Turning you saw a solid Iron pole, your dad must have left it from when he worked at the ironmongers, you bent down and lifted it up, once again temptation proved too much, and struggling you began to put force upon it, nothing would happen you told yourself, but as you thought that the bar began to buckle, then bend, and suddenly it was now bent into a pole half the originals length.
This was all too much, you dropped the pole and sat down, on a wooden desk, suddenly the desk collapsed and you hit the floor, groaning you got up, and looked down at the pile of broken wood. “Okay this was too much,” you said to yourself, fortunately your skin seemed to have got denser, and that counteracted, the extra force of your much increased weight upon hitting the floor (basically the heavier a thing is, the more force it hits the ground with, to all who didn’t understand that.) You sighed it looked like you simply had to wait till Maddie came back, until them, you were forced to stay her, and resemble Goliaths older brother.
