"Hmm, this is an interesting spell. I've never seen anything like it!" Twilight Sparkle mumbled to herself as her eyes reached the bottom of the dusty, wrinkled page. The book she was currently reading from was very old, which was obvious from its many ripped pages and horribly stained cover. She had found it in the library's basement, and upon seeing that it was a spell book she decided to give it a try.
"From what I can read its supposed to boost the users magic capabilities! That's amazing, oh the Princess will be so proud when she sees what I can do after this!" Twilight squealed to herself, sounding very similar to a school yard filly. The lavender unicorn quickly went about setting up the spell, which only required a large open space. It exploded in a white light and Twilight was thrown across the room and into the basement wall. She slumped to the ground and sat there for a few moments.
Her eyes fluttered open and she looked around, she didn't feel any different. "Did it work?" She asked herself as she got to her hooves. Her body was unscathed and everything else in the room looked in order. "Maybe if I try using some magic?" She levitated a dozen books of the wall and looked at them with a frown. "What gives?! That spell didn't do anything! Stupid book..." She growled at it before leaving the basement and ascending the stairs. Little did she know, her stomach was already churning and going through a large amount of gastrointestinal distress.
Twilight entered the main room of the library to find it just as she had left. "Well after that disappointment I really could use some cheering up... Maybe I should go see what the others are doing?" After a moment of thinking Twilight decides to go to...
