Yes because he can't take his torture anymore

The terrified thought of how bad Fluttershy's gas is going to be after those beans and broccoli she ate was enough to break Angel. He waved his little furry paws around signaling that he's ready to confess and tell Fluttershy what it was he gave to her to eat.

"Oh, good. I was afraid that I would have to-" Unable to hold in her gas that had started building after those beans and broccoli she had scarfed down. A retched fart unexpectedly and against her will blew out strait into Angel's face. The hot gas puffing up against him like steam blowing out of a pipe. Angel stuck out his tongue in disgust, and tears streamed as he began to cry. The smell was so awful, and he felt hurt that Fluttershy would do such a thing to him after he was going to confess about what he gave her.

"Oh, I'm so sorry, Angel! I couldn't hold it any longer," she apologized and untied him from the kitchen wall.
