Albert and Princess Fina soon followed both confident in Sir Garrett's choice. Though Fina felt some regret that she could only spend a spend a small amount of time in the markets. She enjoyed all the people who she got to interact with so far. The ability to wander wherever she might choose held great allure to one who spent much of her confined to a stone room.
Albert gave little thought to where he would spend the night. Adventuring many times before with Sir Garrett toughened him up from a soft life he once knew. His father's failures at gambling led his family into a sorry state and the path Sir Garrett took him on might guide them out of it. Sir Garrett's triumphs in battle earned him a sizable fortune. Albert already stayed the forfeiture of their ancestral lands with the money he earned as a squire. In time he might restore his family name and home to its former glory.
The shopping went quickly without any haggling at Sir Garrett's insistence. Princess Fina wished to make conversation with some lizard men she saw but the paladin insisted that they hurry so that they could find a camp in the swamp before dark. They headed out with little fan fair. Their journey slowed upon reaching the end of the trail into the swamp. Sir Garrett led the way with his experience and an old map to reach an old outpost.
Reaching the old outpost took a few hours leaving the sun low in the sky. Princess Fina with surprising energy hurried to gathering up firewood excited to be outdoors. Sir Garrett smiled at Fina setting down his gear. Albert found an old fire pit clearing it out for the wood Princess Fina gathered.
