You lock eyes with him and concentrate. After a moment his expression goes blank.

"You will give me this book for free." you say then click your fingers.

"I shouldn't be so mean to you." his attitude changes as he comes out of the trance. "You're one of my best customers. Why don't you take the book. As a gift."

You thank the man and quickly leave before he changes his mind.

"Wow . It worked." you say to yourself as you walk home. "I wonder who I should use it on next."
