Jenny's daughter Sammy came bounding into the room with a big smile on her face.
“Mommy,” she shouted with great enthusiasm.
“Sammy!” Jenny copied Sammy’s reaction which caused her to giggle with glee. Jenny picked up her daughter and spun her around in her arms. Jenny kept Sammy in her arms as she held her close as she walked into the kitchen.
You did your best to stay out of the way of the two giantess way. When they started to head for the kitchen, and didn’t even notice you, you being to doubt your plan. This is hopeless, you think.
Jenny was talking to her daughter about her day knowing that she probable doesn’t even know what she is talking about. It was more for her than her daughter; a way to relive the stress of the day. To Jenny’s surprise her daughter nodded her head as if she did know what she was talking about. Jenny continued her tale of great day as a nurse while getting some juice out for the both of them. She put some in a sippy cup for her daughter and one in a glass cup for her.
“Thank you mommy,” she said.
“You’re welcome. Let mommy change and we will go do something fun, ok?”
“Ok mommy.”
Jenny then set Sammy down who ran into the family room to watch some T.V. as Jenny went to change into something more appropriate then scrubs.
You just sat there in the middle of the family room when you heard the stomping of a 3 year old running in your direction. You ran for cover under the coffee table.
