This choice: Suddenly you were interepted • Go Back...Chapter #4Suddenly you were interepted by: kabaa   Suddenly a car pulled up along side you and stopped on the shoulder of the road. You were suprrised and scared but then the window rolled down and a pleasant man inside said "Hey there you are! I tried to call you but you left your phone on the counter. My work called and they need me to come in a few minutes early today." You just stated at him, confused. "Honey? is everything ok?" he asked. "Uh, erm, uh, yeah everything is fine de- dear?" You eeked out with your pitch rising at the end almost like a question. He looked at you for a moment longer, and then said, "ok, well I've gotta get moving. I left the door unlocked for you since I wasn't sure if you had your keys. Love you, see you after work!" and then he started to pull away.
Once he rounded the corner and was out of sight, you looked straight up in the sky and said out loud, but just to yourself "what the actual fuck is going on!!" then carrying on in your head you started whining, what happened to me? Who am I? Who was that? Why is this happening? Dear god why me! you needed to get off of the sidewalk and get inside somewhere and sit down. Clearly you weren't yourself anymore since that man knew you as someone else, so you couldn't just go home to your old house. But where di you live now? You didn't know! Then you realized the cell phone the man just gave you might know. you turned the screen on and went to maps app and typed "home" into the search bar and a map pin popped up about three blocks away the opposite direction from your old home. You began walking that way.
It was so strange to start moving in this new body, everything felt different different from your old body, things moved and jiggled and shifted, you stumbled a few times, you needed to get use to this. After a half a lock you were getting in stride but felt awkward. This was the razier than the craziest thing you could imagine happening to anyone but you trudged on set to get to this womans home and sit down.
Just then you hear someone from the driveway you were passing say "Oh hey Priya! How are you this morning?" you made it another step and a half before realizing she was speakig to you. You stopped, terrified and turned towards the woman, you didn't recognize her. you just musted a weak smile and said "Oh hey, haha, sorry was off somewhere in my head. I'm good how are you doing this morning?" the woman seeemd to write off your awkawardness and smile, and said "oh you know me, always busy busy busy. Just got the kids off to school and now I'm gonna get ready for an open house I'm hosting later across town the market is so hot right now" She must be a real estate agent you surmised. "Oh, well I hope that goes well for you" you say and start to turn.
Will we see you this weekend?" the woman asks. "This weekend??" you respond. "Yeah at the....
