“Truth or Dare?” Kim asked, suppressing a giggle. “Really, Trish?”
“Yeah! The guy at the shop said it’d be fun,” she defended herself.
“But you didn’t have to buy a whole game for us to play truth or dare,” Kim said smiling.
“He said it was different! Read the instructions, Simon.” She pushed the box to you.
“Ok,” you said opening the box and finding the instructions. “A more magical game of truth or dare. The player whose turn it is will draw a card, either truth or dare. The player to the left of them will then either ask them a Truth or give them a Dare. The magic is that it will happen no matter what; you must tell the truth and you must do the dare. Once done, place the card in the discard pile. Then it’s the turn of the player who asked turn. The cards are mostly Truth or Dare options but there are more unique cards for groups, changing the order, and such. The game will end when all cards a have been played. Then there’s a disclaimer of sorts?”
“That doesn’t matter,” Patricia said waving you off. “So who goes first?”
