Aaron pauses for a moment looking into the fountain, he then thinks about his life. And then runs his fingers through his short hair, finding it hard to believe that moments ago he was actually a woman. He knew that giving up his identity and leaving everyone he knew behind was a heavy price to pay, but he would get to see the world and make a difference in countless lives.
He then turns around to face Michael, “Okay, I’m in.” he says smiling, “Welcome to the Body Modification Bureau.” Michael says shaking his hand, “Now come with me.” He says.
Michael then leads him to the street corner where a taxi cab stops without even being signaled. Michael opens the door and the two of them get in and the driver takes off without even asking where they were going.
“Wow I’ve never gotten a cab this fast.” Aaron says, “But shouldn’t we tell him where were going, actually where are we going?” he asks, “Were going to headquarters and don’t worry he knows the way.” Michael says, “Here check this out.” Michael then goes to slap the driver in the back of the head but his hand does straight through him. “What the hell?” Aaron exclaims reaching up to try for himself. “It’s a hologram, the car is driving itself. But don’t worry you can get your own car in you want, taxis are just better cover when we need a ride in big cities” Michael says
“Wow.” Aaron says playing with the hologram, “Wow you’re easily amused for a college student.” He says laughing, “But you haven’t seen anything yet.” He says
Aaron then sits back in his seat. “Okay now we are going to headquarters for your orientation but I can give you a brief rundown. Okay first off everything you own up until now is being moved to a secure location, you can still treasure the memory of your old life but no one else will find any trace of it. Your apartment is going back onto the market, and we have already initiated a worldwide memory wipe so that no one will remember you and you will no longer appear in any database. Now since I recruited you, I will be your mentor. If you have any questions about anything just ask.” He says
“Okay you said I could go anywhere I want and can have a car, what happens if I get pulled over?” he asks, “Simple, whenever you leave headquarters you will be given a temporary identity with all the paperwork to prove it; license, registration, ext.” Michael answers
