Julie didn't know what was going on with her body or why her normal dinner not only wasn't cutting it, but instead it made her feel hungrier that she had been in ages. She didn't recall feeling that way since taking some extreme diet as part of a stupid challenge to get her body ready for summer that back then was quickly forgotten because it seemed impossible to maintain. But what Julie did know was that while she could indulge in the quality food of Mamma Mia's she shouldn't really over do it or she would regret it.
The waitress nodded when she asked for the small portion of their spaghetti special along with a salad and fresh water, something that could be written off as a day for Julie to spoil herself a bit but nothing else, and hopefully it would calm her belly that seemed to be demanding a lot more than that.
What followed was a small period of restraint watchign all the different dishes going to tables that weren't hers, the full version of the spaghetti meal she ordered, the fresh pizzas, lasagnas, all kinds of pasta prepared with different vegetables and sauces, all of them a feast for the eyes and a punishment for Julie's rebellious belly.
The hostess surprised Julie however when she arrived with a couple of appetizers she hadn't ordered, what seemed to be a very fancy looking Bruschetta and a shrimp scampi so big that didn't really look like an appetizer at all.
"I think there was a mistake" Julie quickly said, not wanting to ruin the restaurant experience for any other patrons
"There isn't a mistake Ma'am, these appetizers are on the house" The hostess explained "You are our customer number one million since we opened Mamma Mia, and we would like to celebrate this great achievement by offering you a very special reward, you can eat for free everything you want from our restaurant from now on until the next year"
The hostess smiled disarmingly at Julie's shocked expression, as if trying to let her know without words that there was no caveat to this reward "Please also allow us to celebrate this special day with a curated menu with some of our best dishes too" Julie could only nod, still recovering from what she just won.
Once the hostess nodded with a slight bow and retired Julie had to contain herself to not shout in joy. An all you can eat pass for an entire year at one of her favourite restaurants! She could worry about diets later, now it was time to spoil herself from this once in a lifetime gift.
