Sonya cursed when she saw who her first opponent was. The maddening thing was that she was hoping to fight Kano who was now grinning ear to ear as the announcement was made. The arrogant blowhard Johnny Cage came over to her to say, "Hey you can do this just keep moving don't let him get his hands on you."
Sonya rolled her eyes, "Gee thanks, I would never have guessed that was a good plan."
Johnny held his hands up, "Hey, just trying to help."
Sonya stalked off, the fight would be up in another hour. Did she have any chance against such a massive monstrosity? That freaky alien could probably rip her in two without breaking a sweat. But what choice did she have? She was trapped on this damned island. Sonya sighed heavily she hated to be a chicken but maybe... maybe she could escape this place. Either that or she could try to convince the person who ran this tournament, that creepy sorcerer Shang Tsung to not have her fight. Ugh the thought of begging was repulsive to her but if it meant she got to survive and get at Kano another day...
