Deciding the itchiness will pass you set down the razor and leave the bathroom.
The house's subroutines calculated you were more immune to it's hypnosis then originally inferred. The house then scoured it's resources on it's best way to complete it's obsessive task. Abandoning hypnosis as the single way to increase your femininity the house settled on changing your stubbornly manly appearance and mannerisms a different way.
