Kovu nodded, he was hungry and he had never had a meal as fresh as this, being an Outlander there was very little food so he was looking forward to having a decent meal.
Kovu and Kiara started to eat the antelope and Kovu was amazed at how good it tasted he had never had such great food in his life. With every bite Kovu was more and more focused on eating, kiara was only hungry enough to eat the forelegs of the antelope however Kovu ate the hind legs, the belly, face areas, he almost ate the entire thing, Kiara was surprised that Kovu could eat that much. When Kovu finished he licked his muzzle and belched.
It was going unnoticed to Kovu until now that he had a small potbelly, but It didn't seem to bother him.
"Are you okay?" Kiara asked, looking at Kovu's larger stomach.
"Yeah, I feel great, I haven't had such great food in my life." Kovu said smiling.
"You look tired," Kiara said.
"I guess I am a little." Kovu replied, lying down.
"I'll leave you to rest," Kiara said, "I'm going to head back to Pride Rock, will you be alright out here?"
"Yeah I'll be fine, see you later." Kovu closed his eyes and went to sleep with a full belly.
