The story began after the survival of the train incidents, he manages to escape. All of his loss is his guard mate Desoto, & his owner Sykes. He founded his own home which comes with the ragged towel, and a box. No help, no food, no owner, nothing. Just himself.
He has a dream of him napping in the food paradise where all dogs gains weight nonstop. There are steak, chicken, bacon, pork chops, etc. All foods are Roscoe's dream come true & wants to join the other dogs. He was crowned by the other dogs as the king of the fattiness and started ordering food from other dogs they should follow his declaration. It was his best dream he never had in entire life.
