Adam, waited by the school's main doors for any sign that his friend, and small crush, Shannon, had arrived at school yet. He pulled up the sleeve of his school blazer and checked the time on his watch again. He hadn't seen Shannon since Saturday afternoon when she said she was meeting Courtney for some much needed girl time and had barely heard a word since then apart from Shannon's quick and brief message last night saying: "Hey Adam. Sorry I haven't been at school, had some stuff I needed to catch up on. I'll meet you outside school tomorrow for the Cadbury's trip. You better not have given my seat up to someone else hahaha.
Btw can you bring some extra food please, cos you love me. Thanx."
Obviously she'd meant love me as a joke, but Adam was still perplexed by her strange request of extra food. His question didn't take long to be answered as he stared up from his watch and looked towards the front of the school courtyard.
Shannon walked over to him giving a smile and wave as see walked, acting like everything was the same as usual. This was not the case, however as Adam could see that Shannon had packed on quite a few pounds since Saturday with her school shirt stretch in a bit exposing a bit of her new chubby muffin top. Her thighs were also slightly larger than before and her cheeks had definitely gotten puffier.
"Hey Adam, how was your weekend?" She said, smiling.
