Dr. Beverly Crusher was in the Infirmary. She was working on a report to Captain Picard about the most recent patients she had treated in Sickbay. There weren't many, thankfully, so the report was short.
She was eager to get back to her quarters once this shift was over. Wesley had volunteered to take a double shift on the bridge, as Worf was busy with Commander Riker on a reconnaissance mission and this provided the aspiring protege with an opportunity to get more experience in.
Adding to that the fact that Beverly had the entire afternoon off, she was looking forward to some personal time to indulge herself in a longtime desire of hers.
Ever since Beverly was a little girl, she had a strange fascination for diapers. She never told anyone about it, as she feared negative reception from her peers. But she had a strange desire to wear them. During her Academy years, she would occasionally go out and buy some, trying to let them last as long as possible.
It wasn't until Wesley was born that she had a legitimate reason to have diapers in her house. And with her husband Jack away a lot, she was free to wear them whenever she pleased.
After Jack's death, it became harder and harder for Beverly to indulge herself, as she had to care for both her son and herself full-time.
But every now and then, she took the time to give in to her desires.
Once her report was finished and she submitted it to the Captain, she got up and went out into Sickbay. She told her assistant Nurse Ogawa "Alyssa, you're in charge til I get back."
Ogawa smiled and said "You got it, Doctor."
Beverly hastily departed Sickbay and made her way over to her quarters. As soon as she got there, she said "Computer, seal door and inform me in advance if anyone comes by."
"Acknowledged," stated the computer.
Beverly made her way to her room and prepared herself for a wonderful afternoon.
