The city June and Mimi lived in was warm for most of the year, usually very sunny with little rain and high temperatures which meant most girls could go out in Bikinis and not get a second glance. But when it got cold, oh boy did it get cold. It was snowy, it was cloudy, it was freezing and both girls had to stand in an outdoor lot that sold used Christmas trees, completley bundled up in several layers of sweaters, jackets, gloves, scarves, and hats. June got to stand under the wooden hut where the till was located and Mimi was standing next to it, wearing a cardboard sign over her jacket which read in bold letters:
BARBIS' BARE TREES. OUR PRICES ARE SO STRIPPED, THEY'RE IMODEST.
"You do realize this is your fault." Mimi grumbled. "If you just kept your clothes on at our last job then we could be somewhere inside and not freezing our tits off."
"I only took mine off because you were naked." June said. "You looked uncomfortable so I wanted to help you feel secure."
"I was only naked because you put itching powder under my uniform!"
"Oh yeah, well ancient history now. Just laugh."
"It was last week!"
"Picky picky, you need a stress reliever Mimi."
Mimi sighed. "I hate wearing this sign. The slogan doesn't even make sense, 'bare trees' implies we stripped off all the pine needles."
"They aren't the only things that will be stripped off." June said under her breath.
"Wassat?"
"Oh, nothing. You know these winter clothes are so constrictive I wish I could..."
"NO!" Mimi shouted. "You aren't stripping here of all places. At the very least you'd freeze to death."
"Fine..."
