Mary couldn't help but let her mouth water. Mary loved Wendy's cooking and at this size, she could eat as much as she can. The thought of breakfast made the tiny siblings' stomach growl. Wendy giggled as she was looking at the hungry face of her siblings. Wendy had a caring smile on her face, and the two felt their uneasiness go away. Jamie held onto the red head's finger as she carefully walked to the kitchen. Mary couldn't help but look over the edge of Wendy's fingers, watching her older sister cover miles to her in seconds. Mary looked at the legs that seemed to go on endlessly, expecting another tremor as Wendy took another step.
Wendy placed the two onto the kitchen counter-top and leaned her massive face closely to her tiny family members.
"What does my little brother and sister want this morning?" Wendy asked putting emphasis on "little".
"Pancakes!" Mary shouted out loud, imagining the landscape the pancakes could cause. Mary wiped a little trickle of drool and sat down on the counter.
"Pancakes it is!" Wendy chimed, her shouting a bit too loud for both of them. Mary and Jamie covered their ears, both of their ear drums rattling.
"Ooops, sorry," she whispered, forgetting how she could hurt them so easily.
"Who are you talking to?" a voice asked from another room, Carla walked in a minute later in purple silk pajamas. Rubbing her eyes and not paying attention to smaller details. Carla walked towards the monolith that was the fridge and pulled out the carton of orange juice. Carla grabbed a glass cup and almost slammed it on the counter, right next to the tiny twins. Both Mary and Jamie scattered away from the giant glass cup, getting their giant blonde sister's attention.
"Eww, ants!" Carla screamed, raising her hand into he air. Jamie and Mary watched in horror as Carla's massive hand slowly came down.
"Carla No!" Wendy shouted, grabbing her younger sister's hand.
"What's your problem Wendy? I was about to kill those bugs" Carla asked, yanking her hand away from Wendy.
"Those 'bugs' are our little brother and sister." Wendy explained, placing her hand onto the counter.
"Come on Jamie and Mary, I'm sure Carla wouldn't have done it if she knew it was you." Wendy comforted the two, earning a skeptical look from the blonde.
"Do you expect me to believe that Mary and Jamie are small enough to fit on your palm?" Carla asked, raising an eyebrow and taking a sip of the orange juice. In stead of speaking to Carla, she shoved the two close to her eyes.
"See for yourself."
"Hi Carla!" Mary waved, while Jamie smiled sheepishly. Carla gasped and blinked her eyes, the sight almost terrifying up close.
"Uh, good morning. And um, sorry I almost killed you." Carla said embarrassed. Wendy giggled to herself before saying,
"Don't worry, I think I almost killed Jamie for a quick second." Carla couldn't help but feel better knowing that she wasn't the only one that put them in danger. The red head placed the two onto Carla's palm while she went back to the pan and flipped the pancake.
"So...
