While walking out of the school, Lindsay noticed lights coming from the science lab, she went to check it out but as soon as she walked in she was greeted by a small blue glowing orb to the chest. She managed to keep a hold of it until it stopped moving. When she looked down at what she had in her hands she watched it look back at her. Lindsay freaked out a bit but quickly calmed down. She hid the orb in her pocket and quickly went back to her dorm. When she arrived in her dorm she put the orb down on her bed and watched it for a while and nothing happend.
"Thank you." seemingly coming from nowhere.
"W-who was that!" replied Lindsay.
"Twas I" said the orb on her bed as it was uncurling into a beetle looking thing.
"You can talk?" said Lindsay
"Oh of course and for your kindness I will be your personal companion, and just for your information I can control the fabric of this reality"
