Security Operations (SecOps)

The Security Operations, also called SecOps, is a private military force owned by the RDA. It is their job to keep the civilian personnel safe from the dangers of Pandora.

SecOps personnel look constantly outward, toward the perimeter. They are a group of hardened individuals and veterans, who live by the philosophy that sharp eyes, fast hands and loaded, destructive weapons are the keys to survival in the harsh conditions of Pandora.

There are several classes of SecOps soldiers, such as grunts and weapon specialists (heavy machine guns, grenade launchers, rapid-fire nailguns, etc.), medics, AMP suit pilots, HazMat Troopers (troopers with flamethrowers), Elite Troopers, and even special forces Commandos.

Background: Vargas lived all his life on the streets in the slums, scrounging for scraps committing small petty crimes to save up enough cash to nourish him self he was hardened by the streets and thanks to his size he was feared by many in his area. As Vargas reached adulthood using his height and size he worked for various corporations as a body guard over the years fighting against assassins and protecting multiple corporate interests he picked up gave him a comfortable life as well as becoming knowledgeable in unarmed combat and in handling multiple types of weaponry. Eventually one of the businesses he was a body guard was working for was bought out by the RDA and Vargas was reassigned as a Heavy Gunner in the SecOps.

Background: Carmen was born to a middle class family in a municipality, she was always fascinated with machinery ever since she’s been working in her family’s garage one of her favorite machines were tanks, her family being of some wealth provided her the tools and knowledge available to her and soon became an expert in all things motorized. After graduating from college Carmen enlisted as a tank operator in the campaign against Nigeria. She loved traveling to a far away land that was alien from her city life she lived in for many years. After a tour she joined the RDA as a AMP operator hoping to have an even greater experience exploring a new planet along with new machinery to use.

Previous Occupation: Home-Trained Soldier
Current Occupation: Special Forces Commando
Birthplace: Earth
Background: Shaniqua was born in the inner-city of a municipality who’s family comes from a long line of private military contractors on her fathers side, and from a young age she was homeschooled by her mother and father. Shaniqua received from her mother a high school education and her father teaches her how to operate several firearms and learned the brutal style of spetsnaz under her father who learned it from when he was a mercenary during his years in Siberia. As she reached adulthood she was a stone-faced killer ready for action, her family enlisted her into the RDA to make her proud in her own as a special forces commando just as her father was.
