Vanilla

Vanilla got home nearly 20 min. after Cream had left. A bag of groceries in her hand, she sauntered into the kitchen and set her bag down.

"Oh, the clerk was most helpful today", she said aloud to herself. Then she called out, "Cream? Are you there?"

Once more an echo pervaded the house, but nothing came back in reply.

Must still be out playing with Cheese, Vanilla sighed. But then, a thought came to her: What if she's out doing something dangerous again?

"I know she's part of a team now, but a mother can still worry. Right?" Vanilla once again asked herself. Then, she noticed the jewels on the counter.

"Wait. Aren't these-?" Vanilla asked as she reached out for one of the gems.

But which one does she pick up?
