Marty is care for by Milton not his mother.

After Sam Baines (Marty's grandfather) hit him with his car after the time traveling teen had pushed George (his own teenage father) out of the was Sam brings the unconscious Marty into his family's home to recover for a bit rather than take him to a hospital or anything. As Sam has done this a few time as the young punks peek into his windows at his daughter, Lorraine, he took the teen up to his oldest son's, who was barely thirteen, room and told him to check out the knocked out teen. So rather than being tended to by his mother, who thanks to traveling back in time was now around the same age he was, Marty was being tended to by his now younger Uncle Milton.

As this has already happened a number of times Milton was getting well versed on what he had to do stripping the older teen down to his underwear to check for any bruises and what not. Milton was surprised to find the older teen in purple undies as he had never seen that color before as he took note of the stranger's name as being Calvin Klein. Looking back at his door to make sure no one was there Milton decided to check an additional place for bruises as he worked as gently as he could to lift the waistband of "Calvin's" undies a little and look down his pants. Milton had to place a hand over his mouth to stop himself from letting out a deep laugh as he saw what "Calvin" was packing or should he say missing. Unfortunately, as Milton covered up his laughter he let go of the waistband letting it snap down hard into "Calvin's" body. This...
