It was strange to the first contestants. This inter-dimensional tournament made for such a seemingly idiotic reason.
"I'm going to kill Toph when this is over" Katara said.
"I'm going to kill Mikey when this is over." April said.
At the ring of a gong, the match began.
"Look, I'm sorry, but I'm not supposed to be here. My friend signed me up for this stupid competition." Katara explained.
"It's fine. My friend signed me up, too. I'm not sure if he knew it involved different dimensions." April explained.
After their conversation, a table rose from the ground revealing two cans of soda. April and Katara grabbed a can, but while April opened hers, Katara was having some trouble.
"You don't know how to open a soda can?" April asked.
"No. I don't think that cans or soda exist in my world." Katara answered.
"In that case, give it here."
April took the can and opened it.
"Thanks." Katara said.
The two chugged their sodas until the cans were completely empty.
"So, now ~*WWHHHHAAATTTT!?*~ Excuse me." Katara burped.
"You probably shouldn't say that again. We are in a burping contest after all. ~*BBBBBUUURRRRRPPPPPP!*~" April belched loudly.
"Okay then. *BBBBBBUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRPPP!*~"
"Nice one, but not as good as this. ~*BBBBBEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLCCCCCCCHHHH!*~" April belched even louder.
Katara didn't understand it. This girl said that she didn't want to be in this tournament, but now she's complimenting her burping. It made no sense. Whatever the case though, she wasn't going to lose. Or was she?
