This choice: You wake up on the bed, still trapped • Go Back...Chapter #4You wake up on the bed, still trapped by: NVR When you wake up, you still feel quite beaten up, but at least you are able to move a little bit. Slowly, very slowly, you stretch your limbs, yawning, making sure everything in your body still works and wondering how on earth everything in your body still works because you just survived an entire laundry cycle. You knew surviving being tossed around over and over in a sea of water tainted by cleaning chemicals was one thing but the drier? There was no way you should have survived the drier. You should have been burned alive, or shocked to death while you tumbled around or something.. Are you immortal now? You wondered for a bit, but failed to get excited at the thought. You aren't looking forward to test the theory.
Gathering enough energy you finally get up, crawling a bit to get free of your multicolored tomb of pairs of panties and an intense lemon smell that you feel is now part of your body. You find out you're in your room, and based on how the clothes are still warm, not a lot of time has passed. "Classic Lucy" you thought, she just did the bare minimum and dumped the clothes here for you to arrange, not knowing she also carried your shrunken body here. But now what?
Your walked to your pillow, enjoying the new perspective and the soft surface of your bed as you walked but not enjoying the detergent smell that still haunted you like an invisible demon, and wondered what your next move should be. Your first idea was just staying there until somebody came back, after all these aren't your clothes and sooner or later, somebody will come to your room, sort what's theirs and find you. Something told you this seemed too easy though. What if you fell asleep and ended up ignored? You could also be more proactive and go to another room, but you already felt kind of tired and this could also go wrong in multiple ways. At 8'' tall you felt you were tall enough to be seen, but if you made the wrong choice you could end up trapped in a room with no way out or worse. Worse than being part of a complete laundry cycle? Maybe, everything was so big now, everything seemed like a threat, even if you survived that. You could be immortal, or it could have been a lucky miracle.
