Suddenly a strange silver/blue light appeared over the field. The moment the light appeared, everyone suddenly stopped moving.In fact, it was as if time had froze completely; no one was blinking, no one was breathing, and even a pigeon that had taken off was suspended in the air. The strange light grew brighter and brighter until suddenly it split into two shining humanoid shapes.
"Interesting. It would appear we have here a game between two teams of prepubescent earthlings Axon." One of them remarked.
"I concur with your observation Zenon." The other one said.
"Shall we use these boys for our experiment?" Zenon proposed.
"I don't see why not." Axon said. "I propose we only enhance one team of boys and use the other as a control group."
"Agreed." Zenon nodded. "Judging from the general difference in size and muscularity, it would appear that the team known as the Hampton Holligans have a clear advantage, while the Pearson City Giants is much less developed. I suggest we use the Giants for our experiment."
"Second." Axon nodded, and waved his hand. Rays of silver/blue light shot out and struck each boy from the Pearson Giants. "We shall now proceed with the experiment." He said, then with a flash both figures vanished, and time seemed to resume once again.
