The Giants knew it was going to be a tough test against a strong ensemble team of The Hooligans, and thus going to this game as the underdogs. The first Innings is always going to be crucial as they would want to keep the scoreline equal as possible, before they can take the bat. Their fear is to be outdone, and they would think because of the size of The Hooligans’ players, The Giants would think it will be straight forward of humiliation.
But before beginning with the first inning though, the boys receive the energy drinks from the coach. But for some reason, it looked quite new and they’ve all never seen such a brand quite like this before. They all looked around and talk about this type of drink they’ve been given.
“Hmm... That’s new! I’ve never seen this kind of drink before.” Joey first spoke out, whilst taking a curious look at this new energy drink.
“Me either!” Ryan replied in response. “But I guess we’ll get used to this if we’ll be able to beat those tough boys over there.”
“Maybe you’re right... I hope!” Joey shrugged and hoping for the best.
Knowing it could be used from now on, both Joey, Ryan, and the rest of the boys drank their energy juice, before it was time to start the game. As they’re the home side, The Hooligans will take the bat first at the start of the innings. The Giants get into position and Ryan will make the first pitch.
The opposition were looking confident in all, but something’s a bit off as the first batter takes the home plate. He wasn’t sure if it just him or did The Giants...
