With a great deal of luck it seemed, you and Izzy made it to the attic without so much as a shadow of Nefernina or Lupa. This brought a smile to your face, for once you could enjoy a morning of ordinary activity. Well ordinary for you anyway.
Izzy opened the door with you still on her shoulder. It was a very simple scene, a dark room with boxes and other things covered in dust and sheets, much like you would see in any other attic only bigger. Izzy picked you up from her shoulder and placed you on the ground.
"Ok," she said while looking down at you, "I just need a few minutes to grab everything we need for the decorations. You can look around if you want but don't go too far and watch out for bugs."
You give her the thumbs up and she smiles before walking over to the closest of the box piles to begin her search. You looked around curiously. Everything seemed simple enough, certainly nothing that should have caused that mummy witch to ban you from this room. So, why did she?
The search for whatever secrets that were hidden lead you to a small corner next to the attic window. Nothing seemed out of place, just the same giant sized boxes and chests that you could never open on your own and Izzy would never touch for fear of Nefernina's wrath. You could still hear the Serpent Queen talk softly under her breath as she continued her own search. But just as you were about to give up and walk back to Izzy, you saw it.
Tucked just behind one of the giant chests was a smaller chest, much smaller. It was human sized in fact. That got your attention. Why would Nefernina have a human chest let alone hide it? Checking to make sure Izzy was still busy with her project (she was currently trying to untangle a set of tree lights) you quickly darted over to the chest. Luck was on your side, it had no locks or chains to keep it shut. "Poor mummy," you thought wickedly, "can't keep me out of everything."
As quiet as you could you opened the chest. What do you find?
