Josh Makes Kate His Best Friend

It really seemed like Kate wasn't Josh's friend in this new weird reality. But that was easily fixed.

He lifted the dictaphone to his black-painted lips and hit the "record" button, saying "Kate O’Neill is my best friend." He then pressed the "stop" button and heard the sound he had heard before, so he knew something was changing.

Josh turned and looked at the photos on his wall to see if Kate was now in them or not. The photos did change, but not the way Josh thought they would.
