Sarah fished around in her trash for the busted device. It looked decidedly broken when she threw it in there, and she had nearly forgotten it, but now she wanted to see if indeed it was responsible. When her hand finally pulled the Dictaphone out of the garbage, she was shocked. It looked... brand new. Not a scratch, or any indication it had ever been damaged, on it. "Whoa... Holy shit!" she exclaimed. No doubt about it now, this device can change reality. And is deceptively hard to permanently destroy, almost like it wants to be used.
Well, Sarah does have more than a few things she'd like to use it for, now that she knows it's very much real. Perhaps she doesn't have to necessarily wish, but simply record as she wants it? The best way is to secure it a bit, so her brother Michael can't take it from her. "Michael doesn't notice, and can't use, the Dictaphone." she records, and is immediately rewarded with the sound of sparkles. Didn't it make that noise, too, when she first used it? That must mean it's working. Good to know.
"Now then... what should I do first?" she thought aloud, already fantasizing plenty of things to make reality...
