Lydia threw open the door to the shared bedchamber, certainly getting the attention of the person inside.
Sari looked up, assessing the situation. Her short brown hair framed her face at an odd angle; the girl always seemed to have her head turned, observing. Calculating. "Your spells have born fruit," she noted.
Lydia smiled, like a predator toys with its prey. "My time is at hand," she noted. "I didn't see fit to share all the details with you. But soon, very soon...well, I'll be a mountain. A god. And this land will fall to me."
If that's what Lydia wanted to believe, Sari was pleased to let her do so. Now that Lydia had found the path to divinity, Sari would soon move to secure it for herself, and put her former 'master' in her place. "What is your next step, then?"
