"Sure thing mom. Come on Uncle Vergil, back to the lab." Thornton says as he takes his undead uncle down to his underground laboratory.
Thornton has been inventing a since he could walk, literally. His large lab beneath his house is a testament to that. It includes a training ground, a work area, an archive, a storage unit, armor display racks, and a corner filled with works-in-progresses. Thornton puts Uncle Vergil in his test cage, measures his progress, and records it on a notebook.
"All right. Seems like you're getting significantly better now. In a few months time we may be able to move on to phase two. But for now you just sit tight. Veesha! Where are you?" Thornton calls out.
Immediately a floating sphere speeds out of a docking compartment. Two red eyes appear on the device.
"Hello Thornton. The bracers have been finalized." Veesha informs Thornton.
"Good! Come, let's get to it!" Thornton exclaims in joy as he puts his lab oat on and his indestructible glasses on. Vision is important these days if you don't want to be changed. Thornton rushes to the test area where two bracers, gauntlet like equipment with a metal skeleton making them up.
Thornton puts them on, one for each hand. The core in the palm of each one glows a brilliant white. Two slide dials lie one the top of the arm.
"Sir, exactly what do these do? Our instructions were pretty cryptic." Veesha asks.
"These bracers, Veesha, can control four things each. The right braver controls the elements while the left one controls some miscellaneous ones, which I'll show in just a minute. Now, see that piece of wood over there. When I command the dial to move with the brain interface I created to be set to fire, I can do... THIS!" Thornton yells as a fireball rockets from the right core, now glowing red.
The wood burns to a crisp, at fifteen meters away.
"These bracers fit on my hands with the finger gun bracers perfectly. Now, anyway, these bracers can make what these dials show from pocket dimensions like the finger guns do or use the surrounding are. Now, for the others." Thornton explains as he moves on.
In the next hour, Thornton fires streams of water, ice, earthen materials, gales of air, and has them orbit him as he can control them or fire them, providing incredible control.
