Orion laid back on his bed nude. It had been a couple of weeks since Orion has been home with his girlfriend Mila and life was great. Mila was pregnant with their child which was expected to turn out a anthro wolf like them. However the two had been debating on what color its fur would be. While Orion was white fur like Artic wolves Mila was on the other hand a wolf with midnight black fur. But that wasn't the only thing on his mind. Orion was going to be leaving in a couple of days and worried about Mila. Sure she had been living off of Orion's wealth as a assassin but he doesn't want that for them. He wanted something for them that was better than he was.
"Mila..Are you sure you'll be fine?" Orion said to Mila turning to her in the bed
"Or course silly!" She giggled as she talked "Our child will be fine with me. Although something is bothering me. The doctor saw something else in there but he wasn't sure what it was...Orion what if it's another a child? A twin?"
"Well then" Orion cuddled and kissed her on the forehead "All the more reason to resolve my last job and come clean"
Mila seemed worried but got calm "Alright Orion...If you think this will work then I trust you. But promise me you'll stop the killing when this is over"
"I promise Mila. Now go back to sleep" Orion said as he kissed her one last time before getting up to let Mila sleep.
A couple of days later Orion was overlooking a desert valley in the wastes. He had been tasked to take out a group of bandits that had been annihilating towns.
